It’s negative temps here in the Midwest so a full jean jumper seemed like the perfect not to hot not to cold just right like a long walk on the beach. 😂

This year reminded us that time is a thief…..
Our kids are growing faster than it feels possible and knowing this is the last year of both kids truly believing in the magic is so bitter sweet, because it has felt so magical but also just pulled at my mama heart so hard this year.

This is also my first Christmas without any grandparents earth side and the reality of how precious the time is that we are given together is hitting really hard. While reminders of each of my grandparents surround us in Christmas decor, family traditions, and the love they created in our family.

It’s hard this year as parts of my heart are missing and parts of my heart are breaking knowing the magic is changing.

With every season change as the next phase of life comes, somehow the next chapter of kids I seem to love more than the last.

Sending you all so much love from our family to yours ❤️

Fighting for my kids at school, making hard decisions to start a new school and homeschool, helping care for my grandma, being all the things to all the people, watching my grandma go to heaven, being a homeschool mom, trying to succeed in business, and feeling like I was failing at everything and not being enough, trying to put all the pieces back together after all the hurt.

But there is a lightness that I can feel coming in 2026 and I’m so ready for it and all that is to come.

When you function inside the walls of these squares and let people peak into your life or when your job is tied to the tiles of this digital space... Sometimes all you want to do is close the curtains and roll up the welcome mat... but you can’t. Just like the rest of the world has to show up to work, so do those of us who choose function in this space.

Those who create have to decide in hard moments… do I put on my show girl make up and pretend like things aren’t happening or do you allow people to see the see the hurt and the tears?

No matter what you do it feels like someone won’t like the way you function, what you share, or how you show up. There is no way of making all people happy here.

So while we still sift through boxes of things left behind and process emotions, I have a choice to make.

Maybe I’ll talk about some of the things I’m processing - maybe I won’t. Honestly a post like this really isn’t even needed.

But I never want people to feel alone. So if you are processing something hard. Here is your permission if you need it....

Show up how you want to show up. Process in this space what you want to process or don’t process it here at all, you get to choose what exists here. No one is entitled to all the parts and stories of you.
